GAME 1 LOSS 2-7 TO DODGERS
Um.
What happened?
Isn’t that what everyone is saying? I couldn’t even update this blog until the afternoon after what was an incredibly excruciating game after Dempster gave up a grand slam after….AFTER loading the bases once already and having his defense get him out of it.
Oh but he’s not the only one (granted he is the culprit)…Soriano, a lead-off player went 0-5. Um.
Ryan Theriot nearly fell and bobbled the ball JUST LIKE Alex Gonzalez did in the ’03 playoffs. Um.
All I can say is….I know we want it. I know they want it. I know we can do it. I’m wearing a Cubs jersey for game 2 here in Los Angeles, have gotten endless amounts of crap btw. My best friend James has the flu and HE is going to the game back in Chicago, and I hear it’s COLD. We’re dedicated, we want it and we’ll do anything. Cubbies please please don’t let us down. PLEASE.
Stay tuned….GAME 2. Big Z on the mound.
GO CUBS GO!
3-0 SWEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess you cant buy a championship after all……………….

Be sure to follow the instructions to get the special graphic you can put in your blog’s header if you wish! That’s funny that the AZ homer in 2007 NLDS Game 1 almost hit you…I was right there. You could have thrown it back. Thanks,

Thx for the reply Mark,
Actually, had I not been literally trying to sit down in my seat with a beer (let alone the shock of actually having to get out of the way from a FIRST PITCH home run), I would have reached for it and thrown it back. It’s ok as the gentleman next to me happily threw it back onto the field. I still need to blog about the series against LA. It’s taken me this long to get over the season. I couldn’t even LOOK at my blog. I was pretty ticked off. I got over it. And like a fan, I’ll be there for spring training and home opener…bleeding Cubbie Blue never goes away, but takes a long time to get over.
