POST SEASON BABY

Ok so I’ve been gone awhile…stop giving me crap I’m back. I just didn’t want to jinx it…and I didn’t want to get too emotional about this. We’ve been here before, haven’t we? Been down this road, and we can never seem to make it past this next round…but this year? Is this THE YEAR? I’ve made some bets with Dodger fans….involves doing some embarrassing stuff if the Cubs don’t pull through.

I even booked my flight to arrive in Chicago on 10/24, the night before they would play at home in the World Series. Is that obsessive? I’d say more like prepared. Is it expecting too much? No. It’s just the die-hard “believe” mentality of a Cubs fan. I know they can do it…screw the curses….screw the anti-Cubs fans who can’t understand that it would be an awesome thing in the sports history world for the Cubs to win after 100 years.

If we’re meant to win it all, it doesn’t matter what anyone says about the Cubs.

I’m trying not to get my hopes up…it’s so hard. I know you understand.

Wednesday….Oct 1. DODGERS. Game 1 of the 2008 playoffs. GO CUBBIES!!

Oh yes, the last time the Cubs won their division back to back was in 1908…when they won the World Series.
