Um first of all, it’s with great pleasure that I update this blog. We were one game up on the Brewers going into this series at what is lovingly called, “the Northside stadium for the Cubs,” and I was SO worried.

You know that feeling as a Cubs fan, when you try not to get your hopes up, but heck they’ve been #1 all damn season and it’s hard not to and then suddenly, some lame team like the Brewers creeps up on them…and let’s face it. NO ONE would give two craps about the Brewers in a WS, except for WIS fans. Can we say low ratings for Fox anyone?

Now I am trying not to be a sore winner, my parents are even Brewers fans but even THEY think we need to win it all and deserve it…mostly because then Cubs fans will pipe down for awhile (but I doubt that).

GO CUBBBIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!

Seriously.

1. Why is it that we lost 2 of 3 games to Houston?

2. Why is it that we lost to the Diamondbacks last night? Do we not remember the pain of being swept and having the last lost game happen at Wrigley last season as well?

3. Um….why can’t anyone stop the Brewers? Would anyone really care if they went to the WS? NO. Listen, I’m from Wisconsin originally and I can tell you half that state doesn’t even care.

4. The Cardinals need to calm down and leave us alone. They already won, it’s our turn!

We need to be well ahead of everyone, not just 2 games up when playoff time nears. My heart can’t take it, not only that but I am unable to see every game because of the time difference in LA. Someone smack the team around and tell them to start acting like they played in May and June.

Ok so I’ve been MIA from this blog for a few weeks, what can I say, no one’s commented, no love…everyone else is MIA too. I’m planning on going to Chicago for the St. Louis series in August…in the meantime I’m excited 7 of our players made it to the All Star game AND am getting my Cubs tattoo in less than 2 weeks in South Beach. I’ve wanted it for so long I can’t wait…

Season sure does go by fast…can’t believe July is half over…craziness. September is going to be exciting.
