Cubs vs. Rockies

Ok so I’m watching the game on WGN and Soriano misses yet ANOTHER fly ball in the first inning? Well thank god he managed to throw it too DeRosa to get the batter out. Wow he is a bad defensive player. Yeah seriously, WTF.

I feel better now that we’ve scored in the bottom of the 1st. It’s sooooo hard to watch the Cubs from California. SO HARD. Is there anyone out there who also understands my pain?

And looks like Soriano redeemed himself with the HR, but he can’t keep making these serious mistakes in the outfield. I see that and I think of if we were in the playoffs and he did that….reminds me of ’03 and I just can’t take thinking about it. He needs to be a DH. I like him, but those mistakes make me nervous.

I see Wood warming up in the bullpen to close the game.

Ahhh it’s a great feeling when we’re in the lead, there’s 1 out in the top of the 9th at home and you just know we’re going to win. I LOVE IT. What’s up SWEEP!

The last time the Cubs won 7 or games in a row at a homestand was in the 70s. Hmmm are these all signs? I don’t know..I hate to think about it. I don’t want my heart broken but you know when that hope comes on in the season, that hope that they could win it all and just might be able to do it.

1 out left…Wood is on fire. 1 out and we had an amazing homestand.
